Is the Damascus steel real?
Yes. Our Damascus is genuine pattern-welded steel — layers of high-carbon steel forge-welded, folded and etched by hand. It is not laser-printed or acid-stamped like the cheap imports. Because the pattern comes from the forging itself, no two knives are identical.

How many layers are in the blade?
Most of our blades are [176–352] layers, depending on the pattern. The exact count is listed on each product page.

What is the Rockwell hardness?
Our blades are heat-treated to [56–60] HRC — hard enough to hold a working edge, soft enough not to chip in the field.

Do the knives come sharp?
Yes. Every blade is sharpened and edge-tested by hand before it is packed. Handle it carefully when you unbox it.

Is a sheath included?
Most fixed-blade knives ship with a hand-stitched genuine leather sheath. The product page tells you if one is included.

Will the blade rust?
High-carbon Damascus will rust if you leave it wet or store it in the sheath long-term. Dry it after use and wipe it with a light oil now and then and it will last generations.

How do I look after my knife?
Wash by hand and dry immediately — never in a dishwasher. Wipe the blade with mineral or camellia oil every few weeks. Store it out of the leather sheath for long periods. Strop it regularly rather than waiting for it to go blunt.

Ordering & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept [Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay]. All payments are processed securely by Shopify — we never see or store your card details.

Can I get my initials engraved?
Yes. We take custom engraving and custom builds. Email [EMAIL] with what you want and we will quote you a price and a timeline.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us within [12] hours of ordering and we will change or cancel it, as long as it has not shipped. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once forging has started.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
Yes — we work with retailers, outfitters and corporate gift buyers. Email [EMAIL] with your quantities.

Shipping & Delivery

How long until my order arrives?
In-stock orders ship in [1–3] business days and typically arrive in [5–8] business days to the US, [6–12] elsewhere. Custom orders take [7–14] business days to make before they ship. Full detail on our Shipping Policy page.

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, with a few exceptions where knives are restricted by local law. See the Shipping Policy.

Is shipping free?
Free [worldwide / US] shipping on orders over $[XX]. It applies automatically at checkout.

How do I track my order?
Use your tracking number on our Order Tracking page, or click the link in your shipping confirmation email.

Will I pay customs or import duty?
Possibly, depending on your country. Any duties or import taxes are collected by the courier on delivery and are the buyer's responsibility.

My tracking has not updated in days. What now?
International parcels often go quiet for [3–5] days between scans, especially in customs. If nothing has moved for [10] days, email [EMAIL] with your order number and we will chase the courier.

Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?
[30] days from delivery on unused, unsharpened knives in original condition. Custom and engraved pieces cannot be returned. Full terms on our Returns & Refunds page.

My knife arrived damaged.
Email [EMAIL] within [7] days with photos. We replace it or refund you in full, and we pay the shipping.

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — [1 year / lifetime] against defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover misuse, rust from poor care, or normal dulling.

Legal

Is there an age restriction?
Yes. You must be 18 or older to buy a knife from us. Couriers may ask for ID on delivery.

Are these legal to own where I live?
Knife laws vary widely by country, state and city — especially for folding and automatic knives. It is your responsibility to check your local law before ordering.
